Lovely Customers

Once again I was reminded today that I probably have the nicest customers a business could have. I had a lovely chat with Mary today complimenting my products and wishing me continued success. Just lovely thank you. I have been selling Trouserslips since 1996 and I have met the most wonderful women and men in that time.  I miss not going out to the shopping centers and meeting people face to face, it was part of the job that I [...]

Shopping early for Christmas

Dear Customers This year I am going to try and get organised early for Christmas.  I say that every year but I mean it this year – hence the early email! Now that you have had a chance to use the new website I hope you like it. We got very good feedback and  customers find it easier to navigate. The prices remain the same as they have for many years.  The only change is in the cost of postage but that [...]

No built in obsolescence here!

My washing machine has broken down. I am hoping that it will be fixed but I suspect there is built obsolescence and it is probably finished. This has made me think about when I started out in 1996 and when I was choosing my fabric.  The last thing I wanted was to have disposable clothes which was why I chose these particular fabrics. The poly was a particularly good fabric.  It is breathable, anti-static and wears very well – almost too [...]

Saints and Scholars

I am not particularly religious but St Brigid has always held a fascination for me. I think it has to do the promise of Spring. Dressing for the Weather

The weather plays such an important part in our lives.  Last week I was lucky enough to get a week in the sun in Gran Canaria and in the evenings I would sit on my balcony  in my cool full black silk slip with matching black silk  french knickers enjoying a glass of white wine. This photo reminds me of the warm colours of Gran Canaria and there is a little lizard hidden in it too! My friend says [...]

Some of Your Comments about the Trouserslip

“Great for golf,”  Carol “I have a skin problem and find them great, I recommend them at the hospital that I attend.”  Aideen “Better than tights,  prefer the silk as they are warmer.” Fiona “The trousers fall better and you look good and feel better with a trouserslip.” Ita “Stops clothes clinging,” “Pains in my knees – they are always cold.  For lighter pants i.e. linen, they don’t crease as much with the trouserslip.” Eileen
